Annan Thambi is the story of twin brothers, Appu and Achu (both played by Mammootty). Appu is a talkative conman who always finds himself in trouble. But soon major misunderstandings created by their enemies crop up and the brothers are baying for each other's blood. It's a story about Sivaraman an unemployed man and Ambika who stays in the neighborhood. Sivaraman gets the job of a watchman with the help of a friend.
